The elastic and hardness characteristics of the pad serve to evenly distribute the polishing pressure, thereby ensuring uniform polishing of the fiber ferrule's end face,absorbs vibrations generated during the process, minimizing polishing errors caused by such vibrations and guaranteeing the flatness and surface finish of the fiber end face.

Good adhesion, the rubber pad is much more “smooth” and “adhesive”,not easy to peel off.

Fiber rubber polishing pads are critical consumables in the manufacturing process of fiber optic connectors, provide a stable support surface for polishing, absorb vibrations, minimize errors during the polishing process, ensure the consistency of polishing quality.

During the fiber optic polishing process, a polishing pad is positioned on the polishing machine's polishing plate. Once the fiber optic connector ferrule is secured within a polishing fixture, it comes into contact with the abrasive paper on the polishing pad—driven by polishing pressure—and undergoes relative motion.
