Fiber rubber polishing pads are critical consumables in the manufacturing process of fiber optic connectors, provide a stable support surface for polishing, absorb vibrations, minimize errors during the polishing process, ensure the consistency of polishing quality.

During the fiber optic polishing process, a polishing pad is positioned on the polishing machine's polishing plate. Once the fiber optic connector ferrule is secured within a polishing fixture, it comes into contact with the abrasive paper on the polishing pad—driven by polishing pressure—and undergoes relative motion.
